Intro :
Amir & Nazi wanted a day that felt like a very good party with the people they love most, set somewhere beautiful enough to take your breath away. Aske Hall delivered. Its Georgian architecture and sweeping parkland gave us a backdrop that was grand but never stuffy, and the couple’s warmth set the tone for everything. This one is full of laughter, long hugs and golden light.

Words from the couple
“We didn’t want to feel like we were being ‘posed’ all day. Fred blended in so well that we often forgot the camera was there, and the photos feel exactly like how the day felt.”
Words from the photographer
“Amir & Nazi told me early on that their families were the heart of the day. So I spent the ceremony and the drinks reception watching the people around them: grandparents laughing, friends wiping away tears, the small moments that usually go unseen. A venue like Aske Hall gives you epic scenery, but it’s the connections that make the photos matter.”
Wedding story
Best moment or memory
Walking out of the ceremony to our guests cheering and throwing confetti. We’ll never forget that wall of happy faces.
Something different
We replaced a traditional guest book with a “letters to the future” table, where guests wrote notes to be opened on our first anniversary.
Venue: Aske Hall, Richmond, North Yorkshire
Wedding wear
Nazi: A white soft crepe dress with a cathedral-length veil”
Amir: “A white suit with a navy tie”
Styling and personal touches
Soft whites, navy and blush tones echoed the garden setting. Candlelight and wildflower arrangements gave the reception a warm, relaxed feel, and handwritten table names made it personal.
Ceremony and readings
Their ceremony was short, heartfelt and full of humour. Amir’s brother gave a reading, and both wrote personal vows that had the whole room laughing and crying.
